Caroline Allertz is an internationally-oriented coach, career advisor and lawyer. She is fully bilingual in English (native-speaker) and Dutch. She grew up in Southern Africa, but completed secondary school in the Netherlands (VWO) and graduated with a law degree (Meester in de Rechten) from the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam.
She began her legal and financial career in Scotland and specialized in Trusts and Tax Law. Although she enjoyed the intricacies of legal work and also the dynamics of being a Project and Financial Manager in an International Marketing Company she discovered that her passion lay elsewhere. She found greatest fulfillment in coaching, advising and encouraging those at turning-points in their careers and during life-changing phases in their personal and professional development.
The knowledge, insight and intuition Caroline puts to use in her coaching is based on the following sources:
- Her own personal life-experience in different countries, professions and companies.
- Studies in psychology, career advice and coaching techniques. She is a registered and accredited career coach (a member of NOLOC) and regularly attends workshops and trainings in her profession.
- 22 years of experience as a specialist in the field of (Scientific) Hand analysis, means that she has advised more than 1000 clients on subjects such as vocation, health, talents and well-being.
As a coach Caroline is both creative and pragmatic. She is inspiring and empowering while at the same time focusing on realistic and attainable results. She brings her energy, her humour, her analytical abilities and her intuition into her coaching and every session or programme is adapted to the specific requirements of each individual client. Due to her personal experience she has a special understanding of the issues facing lawyers, accountants and expatriate managers in their careers.
